Midwives For the Gambia
From the Apprentice to the GrandMidwife, Midwives for The Gambia (MFTG) offers Doulas, Montrice and Midwives the chance to make a difference globally. Each Midwife will come, ready, willing and eager to offer 30, 60 and 90 day stays, in the rural Villages in the outskirts of Banjul, The Gambia. They will be called to birth and educate the Tribeswomen of their designated areas. They will come with food, lodging and one-hundred (100) donated birth kits for the mothers they will serve.

Each Birth Kit will contain what is needed to birth as well as others materials to be used for education and empowerment.
Along with the striving efforts of the local government, their officials and its government agencies, these Midwives will certainly come away knowing their efforts will be appreciated and welcomed with each new life arriving safe and healthy!
